Description
Oakland County Parks Commission is soliciting bids for a new golf cart fleet serving five golf courses. The initial purchase includes 265 electric carts and 77 gasoline carts, with specified quantities and delivery locations at Glen Oaks, Lyon Oaks, Red Oaks, White Lake Oaks, and Springfield Oaks Golf Courses. The carts must meet detailed functional specifications and include required warranties, beige color matching existing carts, canopies, storage, number decals, cup holders, wheel covers, windshields, information holders, USB ports, and course-specific battery chargers. The awarded vendor will enter into a five-year contract, with the fleet purchase in year one and service and maintenance during the remaining contract period. The solicitation also includes miscellaneous cart purchases at a discount from MSRP, trade-in pricing for the County's existing Club Car Tempo fleet, local parts availability and repair support, mobile service information, repair rates, delivery timing, and three recent fleet-sale references. Attachments C and D must be completed and uploaded in Microsoft Excel format, along with a product brochure or specification sheet for each proposed cart model; PDF submissions are not accepted for those attachments. The County may require seven-day demonstrations of one electric cart and one gasoline cart.
