Description
The City of Evanston is seeking proposals from experienced firms to provide independent contractors who will supplement City staff with plan review and inspection services. The scope includes plan review; structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire inspections; fire plan reviews; zoning plan reviews; and code enforcement services. The initial agreement runs from the date of award through December 31, 2030, with two additional one-year renewal options and a possible extension of up to 90 days to establish a new agreement. Proposers must submit a cover letter, qualifications and experience information, similar-project references, assigned manager resumes, fees, contract exceptions, responses to specified operational questions, and required ownership, conflict-of-interest, anti-collusion, M/W/D/EBE, and contract acknowledgment materials. The proposal must include an insurance certificate naming the City as an additional insured, with specified general liability, workers' compensation, automobile liability, and professional liability coverage.
