Description
The U.S. Air Force requires firm-fixed-price rodent decontamination and remediation services for a 2,300-square-foot office area in Building 339, Room 120, containing approximately 60 workstation assemblies. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, personal protective equipment, HEPA-filtered equipment, EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectants, air scrubbers and/or hydroxyl generators, replacement ceiling tiles, and other materials and equipment necessary to complete the work. The scope includes establishing contamination-control work zones; HEPA vacuuming workstations and accessible building surfaces; cleaning and disinfecting nonporous surfaces and sensitive office equipment; safely removing and disposing of contaminated ceiling tiles and installing Government-provided replacements; protecting electronics with sealed 6-mil polyethylene sheeting; performing final HEPA cleaning; operating air-filtration and hydroxyl-generation equipment as appropriate; and leaving the premises sanitized and residue-free. The contractor must certify that surfaces were washed with a dilute 10% bleach solution and explicitly state that no dry sweeping or vacuuming was conducted. Work will occur during Saturday-Sunday operating hours, with a final inspection by the facility manager.
