Description
The solicitation is for the design and installation of a vertical wheelchair platform lift, specifically a Savaria Multilift model. The lift has a capacity of 750 lbs, a travel of 32 inches, and a platform size of 36" x 54". The scope includes providing the lift equipment, entrance assemblies, gates, and associated electrical work. The contractor is also responsible for all masonry, carpentry, drywall, and finishing work required for installation. The lift must comply with ASME A18.1-2014 and all applicable state and local codes. The project is for a public building, and the unit is free-standing with an auto ramp and underpan sensor.
