Description
The Virginia Air National Guard is soliciting a base bid for professional mold remediation in a 485-square-foot Break Room in Building 330, with monitoring of an adjacent 580-square-foot office. Work includes negative-pressure containment, HEPA air filtration, decontamination, cleaning and sanitizing, removal and disposal of contaminated cabinetry, wall boards, drywall, ceiling tiles, and other designated contents, HVAC cleaning, and final treatment with an EPA-registered biocide. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, waste management, personal protective equipment, and applicable documentation in accordance with the Statement of Work and referenced industry standards. An optional restoration line item includes installation of 5/8-inch mold-resistant Type X drywall with a Level 4 finish, rock wool sound insulation, and specified USG ceiling tiles. The solicitation also requires a project timeline, technical narrative limited to 10 single-sided pages, comparable-project information for work completed during the past three years, pricing for all line items, and completed applicable provisions and clauses.
