Description
The City is offering grant funding for capital expenditures supporting a new or updated facility within the Grants Pass Urban Growth Boundary that includes bathroom access for people experiencing homelessness. Projects must demonstrate how the capital investment will improve direct services, including services for people with disabilities, and must be completed within six months after execution of the grant agreement. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to people experiencing homelessness; other entities may participate as partners but may not apply as the applicant. The City anticipates awards totaling $60,000, with no minimum award amount, and may fund one or more applicants or provide partial funding. Requested funds may cover eligible capital expenditures, but not ongoing operations or direct services. Applications must include a narrative, a detailed capital-expenditure budget, and written responses to the risk assessment questions.
