Description
Douglas County Government seeks a contractor to provide janitorial services at 20 county facilities. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, commercial-grade equipment, and cleaning tools. Services include frequent cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, glass, and other surfaces; quarterly carpet shampooing and floor stripping and waxing; and additional cleaning for certain special events. The County provides consumable paper products, trash bags, and cleaning chemicals, while the contractor provides and maintains cleaning equipment. The contractor must staff the work with employees, provide an on-duty supervisor, and ensure assigned personnel pass required background checks and security training before accessing facilities. The bid response must include a completed pricing schedule and information on the firm's experience, service and quality-control plan, equipment, proposed supplies, key personnel, references, and customer contract termination history. The initial term is one year, with four one-year renewal options.
