Description
The City of Buffalo, through the Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency, seeks proposals for projects funded by the federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP). Funding is intended to assist people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and other vulnerable populations through affordable housing, non-congregate shelter, and supportive services that reduce homelessness and improve housing stability. Eligible applicants are incorporated for-profit or nonprofit entities authorized to undertake affordable housing activities within the City of Buffalo. The agency encourages participation by locally owned minority- and women-owned business enterprises and encourages directing at least 30% of the project’s total dollar value to such enterprises, directly or indirectly. Proposals are due November 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
