Description
Douglas County seeks a contractor for a full replacement of the traffic signal at the University Boulevard and Cresthill Lane intersection. Work includes removing and replacing 10-inch concrete pavement, traffic signal equipment, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and pavement markings, along with associated roadway, electrical conduit, erosion-control, landscaping, and traffic-control work. The bid schedule includes quantities for these items and a lump-sum bid format. The contract is a completion-date contract with 70 calendar days of contract time; the completion date will be established in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond and, if awarded, provide 100% payment and performance bonds. The bid package also requires a completed bid proposal and schedule, addenda acknowledgment, bidder qualifications statement, non-collusion affidavit, and proof of CDOT prequalification when applicable under the stated funding or bid-value conditions.
