Description
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking contractors for as-needed rooter, pumping, and grease-trap services. The scope includes hydro-jetting, sewer and drain cleaning, root cutting, sewer-line video inspection and locating, septic and sanitary-pit pumping, vacuum-truck services, grease-trap pumping, steam-tunnel and lift-station pumping, liquid-manure pumping, and proper disposal of removed waste. The solicitation is divided into three lots: Rooter Services; Pumping Services; and Grease Trap Pumping Services. Bidders may bid only on the equipment and services they can provide and must submit equipment/operator, mobilization, regular-hours, overtime, labor, disposal, and related rates as applicable. Services may require OSHA-certified confined-space personnel, hazardous-duty/PPE-inclusive rates, detailed waste-hauling records, and on-site performance. Multiple awards are anticipated based on the lowest unit prices by service category. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, or the date of award, through December 31, 2031, with two additional one-year renewal terms through December 31, 2033.
