Description
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is soliciting bids to establish a contract for concrete repair and maintenance work at various campus locations. The scope includes removal and replacement or new construction of concrete walks, slabs, islands, curbs, curb and gutter, flumes, steps, stoops, walls, storm sewer inlets, and storm sewer pipe, along with saw cutting, excavation, backfilling, crushed stone, topsoil, reinforcing steel and wire mesh, concrete delivery, debris removal, site restoration, and related labor and equipment. The contract is intended to provide short-notice support for minor campus maintenance and construction projects. Bidders must provide unit pricing for the listed work and resources; quantities are estimates for bid purposes only, and no specific quantity or dollar amount is guaranteed. Services must be performed on University property in the United States, in accordance with applicable Wisconsin Department of Administration facilities-development specifications. The University may award to one or multiple bidders, and single jobs generally may not exceed $30,000 under the limited-trades-work limitation. The initial contract term is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2030, with two additional one-year renewal terms. A detailed warranty and service-level submission is required, and standard warranty documents should be enclosed.
