Description
Jefferson County Human Services is seeking qualified organizations to develop sober living facilities at two sites in Jefferson County: one in the City of Jefferson and one in the City of Watertown. The facilities must provide safe, supportive housing for people recovering from opioid addiction and meet Wisconsin Department of Health Services Recovery Residence Registry requirements. Jefferson County Human Services will serve as the primary treatment provider, with the selected operator expected to coordinate referrals, treatment access, medication-assisted treatment, multidisciplinary care, harm reduction, and barrier reduction. Up to $300,000 is available, with an anticipated allocation of $150,000 per site. Allowable uses include approved capital and startup costs, and expenditures must be completed by the end of 2028. Proposals must include agency information, qualifications and relevant experience, service-delivery plans, a sustainability plan, a proposed budget and spending timeline, and at least two professional references. Items 1 through 4 are limited to five pages total, with the proposal overview limited to two pages. The selected provider must obtain Recovery Registry status and demonstrate how operations will continue beyond the initial funding period.
