Description
Dane County is soliciting bids for multiple styles and quantities of snowplow and grader blades. Required products include tungsten-carbide-tipped cutting blades in several sizes, Black Cat or equivalent blades, Joma rubber blades, Joma specified left- and right-hand blades, and seven-foot grader blades with 5/8-inch mounting holes. The specifications address steel grades, dimensions, hole patterns, hardness, carbide composition, brazing, markings, and acceptable product variations. A manufacturer specifications sheet must be submitted, and any deviations must be identified and explained with supporting photos or schematics as necessary. The bid is for product supply and delivery, with pricing inclusive of delivery and other related costs. Vendors must complete the electronic vendor questionnaire, pricing proposal, required certifications and declarations, and upload a W-9 signed within the past 12 months. The resulting award may be made through one or more contracts or purchase orders; additional purchases may be made under the resulting arrangement. A certificate of insurance is required from the successful vendor before purchase-order issuance, rather than with the bid submission.
