Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks qualified nonprofit organizations capable of operating and maintaining a federal chimpanzee sanctuary and providing lifetime care for up to 300 federally owned or federally supported chimpanzees. The anticipated acquisition would be a cost-reimbursement contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Respondents should demonstrate qualified personnel and 24/7/365 staffing; facilities with indoor shelter and outdoor access; veterinary, biosafety, quarantine, behavioral-management, transfer, and emergency-care capabilities; financial capacity to meet a 25% non-Federal cost-share requirement; and the ability to maintain required governance bodies, regulatory registrations, assurances, and AAALAC International accreditation. Responses must address relevant nonprofit status, organizational capability, comparable prior projects and government contracts, references, regulatory compliance history, and anticipated teaming or subcontracting arrangements. A tailored Capability Statement is limited to 15 pages, excluding resumes, and must include the requested business information and formatting requirements.
