Description
Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority is requesting bids for a fixed-price, five-year contract granting the successful firm exclusive rights to place approved advertising inside and outside Metro’s fixed-route and paratransit buses. The contractor will solicit local, regional, and national advertisers; design advertisements for buses; sell, install, maintain, clean, and remove advertising; obtain required approvals; and provide monthly advertiser summaries and transaction records. The contractor must pay Metro a contracted percentage of gross proceeds subject to a monthly minimum, acquire required insurance, licenses, certifications, and permits, and comply with Metro’s advertising policy and applicable Federal Transit Administration requirements. The solicitation requires a cover letter, capability and experience descriptions, at least three relevant references with current contact information, a price quote, and completed certifications. The current contract expires in October 2026, and no options or extensions are available.
