The U.S. Army intends to procure a commercially available DART simulation training equipment package for the 1st Infantry Division's Holistic Health and Fitness program. The package includes one DART MAX Live Bundle (DM101), three DART Training Simulators (DP200), three MAX Studio units (DM051), four programmable M17-style laser training weapons (DA076), one M17-style spare magazine (DA038), seven M4-style laser training rifles (DA053), seven M4-style spare magazines (DA048), and associated shipping. The equipment provides portable, multi-lane cognitive-marksmanship training, live scenario generation, projection-based tracking, and muzzle-trace analytics. The justification states that the requirement is brand-name specific because the existing DART fleet, proprietary software, coded laser wavelengths, tracking cameras, and M4/M17 weapon interoperability are not compatible with competing systems. The Government intends to sole-source the requirement to Digimation, Inc.; the notice does not identify an open competitive submission package.
