Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting quotations for custodial services at ten separate recreation-area packages associated with Melvern, Pomona, Wilson, Perry, and Milford Lake projects in Kansas. Each package may result in a separate contract award. Required work includes cleaning and disinfecting shower houses, flush and vault toilets, shelters, picnic tables, grills, fire rings, playgrounds, dump stations, sidewalks, fishing docks, water fountains, and other public-use facilities; removing litter and refuse; replenishing supplies; and performing related park-custodian duties. Several packages also require mowing or trimming limited areas, visitor assistance, daily worksheets, quality-control activities, and emergency or additional cleanups. The base periods generally begin between April 1 and May 1, 2027, and run for approximately 12 months, with two option years; the Minooka package includes four option years. Contractors must provide labor, transportation, equipment, cleaning supplies, pressure-washing or water-hauling capability where required, and in some packages an on-site recreational vehicle or residence. The solicitation is a 100% small-business set-aside, and quotes must include the completed SF 1449, pricing breakdown, and mandatory Relative Experience Form; the Past Performance Questionnaire and Vendor Information Form are optional.
