Description
The Defense Health Agency is soliciting seven brand-name-or-equal ceiling-mounted surgical lights for minor procedure rooms at an existing military hospital. The required configuration is seven single ceiling mounts; dual mounts are not acceptable. The lights must meet the stated Boyd S300 Surgery Light salient characteristics, including specified intensity, surgical/exam/dental modes, color temperatures, color-rendering performance, LED lifespan, light-field range, touchscreen and handle controls, power requirements, detachable autoclavable or sterilizable handle, cool-light LED technology, white finish, adjustable ceiling post, and at least a two-year warranty. The requirement includes transportation and on-site installation. Existing ceiling supports and electrical connections are available, hard-wire connections are required, and no structural modification is expected. The Government will remove and dispose of the existing lights, and any required sprinkler-head relocation is the Government's responsibility. Quotations must include a completed and signed SF 1449, applicable SF 30 amendments, a firm-quote statement for at least 60 days, pricing for all CLINs and sub-CLINs, a technical quote demonstrating compliance and identifying modifications, and normal- and after-hours contract-administration points of contact. The offer deadline has been extended to September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time.
