Description
The City of Marysville, Kansas is seeking proposals from qualified developers for the development of the Downtown Green Space, located at 608-618 Broadway. The site is approximately 78' x 72' and zoned C-1 Central Commercial District. The primary objectives include preservation of architectural and historic integrity, expanding commercial/mixed-use opportunities, and complementing adjacent downtown properties. The City is looking for proposals for the 44', 24', and half of the 20' lot, with the City retaining ownership of the remaining 10' closest to the LifeTile mural. Proposals will be received in two phases: Phase I requires a transmittal letter, statement of qualifications, qualifications and experience, project concept, and litigation statement. Phase II requires a detailed project plan including site plan, architectural renderings, milestones, price per square foot, and contingencies. Evaluation criteria include background/experience, financial capacity, timeline, ability to meet goals, and potential for economic vitality.
