Northeast Ohio Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for replacement of roofs 26, 27, 35, and 37. The work includes OSHA-compliant safety setup; removal of existing ballast, EPDM roofing, wet insulation, and flashings; installation of mechanically fastened 60-mil thermoplastic KEE roofing, 1/2-inch high-density cover board, insulation, saddles between drains, shop-fabricated coping and slip metal, and related flashing and accessories; removal and reinstallation of lightning protection; and a 30-year Tremco quality-assurance warranty. The contractor is responsible for scheduling, subcontractor coordination, temporary facilities and controls, site protection, cleanup, inspections, testing, and other work identified in the contract documents. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage, equal-employment-opportunity, domestic-steel, and EDGE requirements, with a 5 percent EDGE participation goal. Bidders must submit the bid form, bid security, bidder's qualifications, applicable EDGE affidavits, and the required public-records acknowledgment. Substantial completion is required by August 2, 2027.
