Description
The City of Tallmadge is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of approximately 3,557 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer using either thermal or ultraviolet cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). The work includes design and installation of the liner, cleaning, CCTV inspections before and after installation, bypass pumping, traffic control, infiltration control, reinstatement of 41 laterals, removal of two protruding laterals, lateral connection grouting and testing, surface restoration, quality control, testing, and warranty work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, supervision, and related services. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, insurance requirements, bid guaranty requirements, and specified experience and qualification standards. Addendum 1 corrects the map for Page 31 to show Van Evera Road. Addendum 2 clarifies that lateral grouting must be performed at the joint and requires bidders to sign and submit the addendum with their bids. Work is estimated to start November 16, 2026, and must be completed by May 31, 2027, or within 120 consecutive calendar days after notice to proceed, whichever is earlier.
