Description
Kent City School District is seeking a contractor to develop a Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) for Davey Elementary School. The plan must address three main goals: 1) Healthy, Safe, Respectful, and Inclusive Learning Environments, including strategies for diverse educator workforce, community engagement, mental health awareness, inclusive practices, whole child supports, mental health services, family/community involvement in violence and drug prevention, communication support networks, and safe school environments. 2) Academic Literacy and Achievement, focusing on universal core curriculum aligned to Ohio's Learning Standards, prevention/intervention strategies, professional development for improved student performance, targeted additional resources for chronic absenteeism and homeless assistance, family engagement, and equitable access to excellent educators. 3) Well-Rounded Education and Future Readiness, including technology integration, STEM learning, and future planning for career technical education and collaboration with Kent State University. The contractor will work with designated school personnel to monitor progress and complete a year-end report.
