Description
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a female Home and Community-Based Services (HPC) provider to work with a high-functioning autistic man in his 40s. The individual is verbal, ambulatory, and lives with his family. He requires encouragement and reassurance to participate in community activities such as dining out, visiting coffee shops, roller skating, and parks. The provider will start at 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, increasing to 5 days per week, 3 hours per evening, totaling 15-20 hours per week. HPC transportation services will also be added to his schedule.
