Description
Contra Costa County seeks one or more qualified community-based organizations to implement violence intervention and street outreach services for its Violence Prevention Program. The selected contractor(s) will recruit, train, and deploy credible-messenger outreach workers in Antioch and Pittsburg to conduct daily outreach, build relationships, mediate conflicts, interrupt violence, respond rapidly to incidents, and connect residents with behavioral health, substance-use, workforce, housing, legal, and case-management services. The scope also includes staffing and coverage planning, coordination with county health staff and community partners, social-media monitoring, participant and outcome tracking, monthly performance reporting, evaluation participation, structured data exchange, and compliance with extensive privacy, HIPAA, information-security, and grant requirements. The initial agreement is for one year, with up to two additional one-year renewals; the initial-year funding ceiling is $470,691, and the maximum total ceiling is $1,412,073 across the initial term and renewals.
