Description
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision is conducting a request for information regarding Community Based Residential Programs for releasees under its jurisdiction, including parolees and individuals transitioning to residential treatment before release. The programs would provide structured housing for up to 120 days, with possible extensions, along with food, individual case management, substance use disorder treatment, mental health treatment, educational and vocational training, and social services delivered directly or through credentialed providers. Respondents are asked to describe relevant experience, proposed approaches for operating a program, costs by interested catchment area, views on program and application complexity, and interest in applying to a future funding opportunity. Programs must provide 24/7 onsite staffing, three daily meals, hygiene and cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, furnishings and linens, compliant facilities, secure medication storage, and other specified residential amenities and safety requirements. This is an information-gathering request only and does not constitute a solicitation for a contract, grant, or purchase of services.
