Description
The City of Laconia is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish, deliver, mix, pump, place, and monitor approximately 275 cubic yards of cementitious flowable grout beneath portions of an existing Public Works Building. The work area is approximately 195 feet by 50 feet, with an average void height of approximately 16 inches. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, testing, protection of existing facilities, cleanup, and related incidentals. The grout must be high-flow, pumpable, self-leveling, self-consolidating, non-metallic, chloride-free, bleed-free, and non-shrink or shrinkage-compensating, with compliance documentation for applicable ASTM standards. The proposal must include the grout product and mix design, technical and compliance data, placement and pumping methods, slab-access and venting methods, void-fill verification, restoration approach, schedule, relevant experience, comparable references, assumptions, exclusions, unit prices, and allowances. The contractor must submit a unit price per cubic yard and an estimated total based on 275 cubic yards; payment will be based on the actual quantity placed and accepted.
