The City of San Diego's Stormwater Department is seeking a contractor to supply and deliver as-needed ready-mixed Portland cement concrete and related materials, including multiple concrete classes, sand slurries, accelerators, hot-weather packages, and other listed ready-mix products. Deliveries will be made in the contractor's trucks to locations throughout the city, generally during weekday receiving hours, with occasional emergency or scheduled night and weekend deliveries. Estimated five-year quantities are provided for pricing but are not guaranteed. The contractor must provide certified load tickets, suitable and safely maintained delivery equipment, delivery receipts or invoices, and compliance with applicable California prevailing-wage, federal Davis-Bacon, WIFIA, safety, licensing, Department of Industrial Relations registration, and environmental requirements. The solicitation requires a completed and signed contract signature page, Contractor Standards Pledge of Compliance, Equal Opportunity Contracting forms, required licenses, completed pricing pages, and applicable federal lobbying forms. A payment and performance bond equal to 10% of the total contract value is required before award, and specified insurance coverage must be maintained during performance.
