Description
The City of Springfield is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a complete lump-sum public-works project involving concrete repair and restoration at Springfield City Hall. Addendum No. 1 expands the work from the South Entrance to include the Northwest Entry as well. The scope includes site protection and access control; removal of loose, deteriorated, or damaged concrete; surface preparation; structural patching and restoration; dowels, anchors, or reinforcing connections as required; application of a two-part epoxy coating system; pedestrian-access controls; coordination with City Hall operations; cleanup; disposal; and all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, mobilization, and incidentals necessary for a complete project. Bidders must submit the City's bid forms and required responsibility, nondiscrimination, MWESB/DBE, conflict-of-interest, non-collusion, and bid-security materials. The project is subject to Oregon prevailing-wage requirements. A 10 percent bid bond, cash, or certified/cashier's check is required, and performance and payment bonds will be required before work begins. The contractor must complete the work within 30 consecutive working days from the applicable commencement date specified in the bid documents. Addendum No. 1 must be acknowledged, signed, dated, and included with the bid.
