Description
The Vermont Agency of Education seeks one or more contractors to establish the Vermont Seal of Global Leadership, a statewide graduation-recognition curriculum and credential program. The scope includes convening stakeholder workgroups; developing program frameworks, eligibility criteria, competency rubrics, crosswalks, implementation guidance, and curricula for civics, global leadership, world history, U.S. history, and financial literacy; creating capstone opportunities; and developing professional learning for educators, school leaders, counselors, career and technical education directors, and homeschool leads. The contractor must also support student engagement opportunities and scholarships, develop a documentation and portfolio system integrated with existing Vermont education systems, establish a statewide capstone network, provide communications and outreach with translation, and deliver evaluation and sustainability reports. Deliverables must meet Section 508 accessibility standards, Vermont brand standards, and State ownership and access requirements. The contract period is five years, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027.
