CITY OF SPRINGFIELDPUBLIC WORKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT CITY HALL SOUTH STAIRS CONCRETE REPAIR Bids Due 1:59 pm, October 27, 2026 INVITATION TO BIDDERS PROJECT NO. P11026 | SOLICITATION NO. S4259The City of Springfield is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids to repair and restore the South Stairs at Springfield City Hall, 225 5th Street. Work includes site protection, removal of deteriorated concrete, structural patching and restoration, application of a two-part epoxy coating to seal and protect repaired concrete, maintaining safe pedestrian access, and cleanup. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Friday, October 9th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. on-site at the City Hall South Stairs, 225 5th Street, Springfield, OR 97477. Attendance is mandatory. Bid documents are available at no cost at: https://springfield-or.gov/city/finance/purchasing/South-Stairs-Concrete-Repair/ Questions are due by 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2026, and shall be directed to Amanda Clinton, Senior Contracts Analyst, at 541-726-3628 or aclinton@springfield-or.gov. Sealed bids must be received by 1:59:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at City Hall Development and Public Works, Southeast Quad, Attn: Amanda Clinton, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, OR 97477. Bids will be opened immediately following the deadline via Microsoft Teams. This project is subject to Oregon prevailing wage requirements under ORS 279C.800-279C.870. Bidders must meet applicable resident bidder, licensing, responsibility, and public contracting requirements. The City may reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, or reject bids when determined to be in the public interest. The City encourages participation by contractors, subcontractors, and minority-, woman-owned, and emerging small businesses. The City of Springfield is seeking a contractor for a lump-sum concrete repair and restoration project at the South Stairs of Springfield City Hall.
