Description
Wake Technical Community College is seeking qualifications from architectural and engineering firms for design consulting services for renovations to Building L Student Services, a 105,669-square-foot, three-story building containing student services, advising, classrooms, culinary training, a student lounge with food services, and ancillary spaces. The scope includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural infrastructure upgrades; interior and exterior finish improvements; building-envelope work; and potential renovations to other buildings as funding permits. The instructional and functional programs are not expected to change significantly, although alterations may accommodate current or anticipated program needs. This is an RFQ for design firms only; other vendors will be contacted later in the project. The selected design team will support programming, design, and construction-document services for a later bidding process. The Statement of Qualifications is limited to 15 pages, with SF 330 required only as an appendix; SF 254 is not required, and SF 330 information does not replace the required SOQ content. Campus visits may be arranged with Codie Pigott for safety and security coordination.
