Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit qualification statements from architecture and engineering firms authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia for small projects. Selected firms will be eligible to provide professional services on an as-needed basis as specific projects arise. Services may include architectural design, interior design, mechanical, electrical, civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering, asbestos/lead abatement design, construction administration, and other related professional services. The contract period is August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2031, with fees not to exceed $80,000 per project. Firms must be authorized to do business in Virginia and properly registered with the Virginia Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation.
