Description
Collin County is seeking qualifications from architectural firms to provide services for existing and upcoming small county projects. The scope includes project programming, alternative design and construction approaches, cost estimating, schematic and design-development documents, complete coordinated construction drawings and specifications, permitting support, bidding assistance, construction administration, site visits, payment certification, submittal review, change-order recommendations, completion inspections, and record drawings in editable CAD/BIM and PDF formats. Projects may include minor building renovations, space reconfigurations, maintenance design, office-space optimization, structural floor-plan layouts, security-related modifications, and work in or adjacent to occupied facilities. The solicitation establishes a one-year contract with three annual renewals and requires a qualifications submission addressing firm capabilities, proposed personnel, relevant projects, best practices, problem resolution, references, and related vendor-response questions. Qualifications are limited to 25 printed pages, excluding specified items such as the cover, table of contents, solicitation document, signature page, conflict-of-interest questionnaire, and W-9.
