Description
Manatee County is requesting qualifications from firms to provide continuing professional architectural and engineering design services for its Lasting Manatee CDBG-DR portfolio, including the Housing Recovery Program, Rental Recovery Program, and Buyout and Safe Housing Program. The scope supports residential rehabilitation, reconstruction, elevation, manufactured housing unit repair or replacement, buyout demolition, site restoration, permitting support, specialized studies, and construction administration on an as-needed basis through work assignments. Respondents must submit schematic designs for three-bedroom model homes on standard and narrow lots with floor plans, elevations, color renderings, and technical narratives in an 11-by-17-inch digital booklet. The solicitation also requires designs and construction documents that address resilient and universally accessible housing, floodplain and building-code compliance, green-building requirements, cost control, model-home standardization, and coordination with the County, contractors, permitting authorities, and program consultants. The County may select multiple firms for continuing services agreements and makes no minimum or maximum workload commitment.
