Description
Sullivan County is soliciting proposals from qualified site contractors to construct a 0.4-acre unpaved parking lot on County land adjacent to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation salt shed. The work includes removing stumps, woody debris, and topsoil; installing drainage piping and stone; laying road fabric; and laying gravel. The contractor must provide all labor and materials except the gravel, which will be provided by the County. Site visits are encouraged. Proposals must include a lump-sum price, a list of products to be used, and an estimated schedule. Selection will consider qualifications and experience, compliance with proposal requirements, ability to meet project needs, total cost, exclusions or limitations, and the contractor’s location. The contractor must maintain liability insurance with limits of $1 million per occurrence, $2 million aggregate, and $1 million automobile liability, plus workers’ compensation coverage, and must provide proof of coverage.
