Description
The Village of Orland Park is soliciting bids for the complete demolition and removal of several structures at 15151 Harlem Avenue, including buildings, basements, foundation walls and footings, concrete pads and stoops, paving and other site-demolition items. The work also includes brush, small-tree and stump removal; erosion and sediment controls; debris diversion, recycling and lawful disposal; excavation, filling, grading and restoration with topsoil, seed and turf. The contractor must obtain required Village and Cook County demolition permits, prepare demolition-debris diversion plans, coordinate project submittals and schedules, comply with applicable asbestos, lead, environmental, prevailing-wage and responsible-bidder requirements, and directly perform at least 25% of the construction services. Bids require a 10% bid bond, and performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price are required when applicable. The project must be completed on or before December 1, 2026.
