Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting quotations for cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation of a 10,000-gallon concrete water storage tank at Hapgood Pond Recreation Area. The work includes sediment and debris removal, pressure washing, patching holes and cracks, applying cementitious coating to interior and exposed exterior surfaces, sanitizing the tank, and cleaning and repainting the existing vent and overflow piping. The contractor must follow confined-space entry procedures and use NSF-approved materials for potable-water contact. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside and is expected to result in one firm-fixed-price requirement contract. Quotations will be evaluated on technical approach, related experience and past performance, equipment, assigned personnel, and price reasonableness; award will not necessarily go to the lowest-priced offeror. The revised period of performance is November 2, 2026, through May 17, 2027.
