Description
Contra Costa County Public Health seeks one or more external evaluators for its Proposition 64-funded Cannabis Awareness and Prevention Program. The work includes designing and administering participant surveys, analyzing quantitative and qualitative program data, conducting two youth focus groups, and producing a comprehensive evaluation report with findings, visualizations, and recommendations. The program spans ten school districts and 68 schools, serving at least 20,000 students. Proposers must have a master's degree or Ph.D. in public health, statistics, epidemiology, or a closely related field, and at least five years of relevant youth substance-use prevention experience, including a documented California cannabis-prevention engagement. The initial agreement term is three years, with up to two additional years by mutual written agreement, and must end no later than December 31, 2031. The estimated budget is $500,000 over five years. Proposals must include a narrative of no more than 15 pages, a degree copy, completed experience, pricing, and reference materials, among other specified forms and supporting documents.
