Description
The State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration, seeks one vendor to operate and maintain Florida’s Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) process. Required services include timely Level I screenings before nursing-facility admissions, Level II evaluations, resident reviews, reconsideration processing, specialized-services coordination, notifications, fair-hearing support, reporting, customer service, stakeholder training, and ongoing technical assistance. The vendor must develop and maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant web-based system and database for PASRR submissions, documentation, data exchange, reporting, and access by authorized agency staff, providers, and other state agencies. The scope also includes a public PASRR website, implementation and transition planning, disaster recovery, information-security controls, Florida-based office capability, qualified clinical and management staffing, and face-to-face and web-based training. The anticipated contract term is January 1, 2027, through March 31, 2031, with possible renewal for up to three years.
