Description
The State of Ohio is soliciting proposals from one contractor to serve as the third-party administrator for its self-insured Behavioral Health Benefit Plan. The contractor will work with the Department of Administrative Services Benefits Administration Services and the Joint Healthcare Committee to support behavioral health benefit administration for approximately 43,800 enrolled employees and 104,600 covered lives, including administrative fee billing on a per-employee, per-month basis and weekly claims payments. The solicitation includes technical and cost proposal submissions, along with supporting requirements described in the RFP and exhibits. Access to Exhibit 8 requires execution of the state's nondisclosure agreement using Exhibit 9; the completed NDA must be submitted to obtain that exhibit. The solicitation also references state IT, business associate, interface and file-transfer, census, financial reporting, and geographic-access requirements and templates.
