Description
The Town of Danville is seeking a qualified firm or consulting team with public-sector experience to develop a forward-looking Master Plan for Oak Hill Park and the adjoining approximately 3.66-acre Town-owned Weber Property. The plan must treat the properties as a cohesive park system while considering existing facilities, amenities, community uses, site conditions, access, circulation, accessibility, trails, parking, environmental and regulatory constraints, funding capacity, and long-term maintenance and operations. The selected consultant will conduct project initiation and existing-conditions assessments; needs and recreation-program analysis; community and stakeholder engagement; development of two to three conceptual alternatives with graphics and order-of-magnitude cost estimates; preparation of a preferred Master Plan; and an implementation strategy addressing priorities, phasing, funding opportunities, costs, and maintenance implications. Deliverables include a draft and final Master Plan, presentations, revisions, and support for Town Council adoption. Proposals must include the firm's approach and work plan, schedule, project management and team qualifications, resumes, subconsultant information, similar completed projects and references, and a task-level budget including travel costs. One PDF proposal is due by 5:00 p.m. on November 20, 2026.
