Description
Contra Costa County Public Works Department's Capital Project Management Division is seeking Statements of Qualifications from professional firms to provide on-call materials testing and special inspection services for County projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, existing-condition assessments, infrastructure, and new construction. Services will be assigned through project-specific task orders and may include soil and compaction testing, concrete and masonry testing, structural steel and welding inspections, fireproofing, waterproofing, electrical and plumbing testing, geotechnical reports, field inspections, daily reports, completion letters, and other construction quality-control services. The County intends to award up to three contracts, each with a maximum not-to-exceed amount of $500,000. The anticipated agreement term is three years, with a projected start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and end in the fourth quarter of 2029. Firms must demonstrate relevant experience, provide qualified and certified inspectors, submit technical qualifications and personnel information, provide customer references, complete the required exhibits and acknowledgments, and submit separate technical and fee proposal files. ICC certification is required at a minimum, with ACI, AWS, or applicable trade-association credentials required for assigned work.
