Description
The University of Wyoming is requesting qualifications from contractors to provide all labor and materials for annual wood floor refinishing services across campus facilities. The work may be awarded to one or more contractors for Type 1 general wood floor refinishing, Type 2 athletic wood floor refinishing, or both, under an Annual Agreement for Construction. The agreement itself does not guarantee work, and individual projects will be assigned as needed. Type 1 work includes refinishing floors in the Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center, Wyoming Union, and Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts using 100-grit screening, water-based Advantage Defense finish, and specified drying and curing periods. Type 2 work includes athletic floors in Arena Auditorium and the UniWyo Sports Complex using 180-grit screening, CourtCleanze cleaner, PolyDefender gloss finish, and Gameliner paint for court-marking touch-ups. Respondents must demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience, provide three work-related references for each work type sought, complete the applicable Past Project Reference Form, and submit a qualifications narrative of no more than 10 page faces, excluding the reference form. Wyoming residency is a stated preference and evaluation factor.
