Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires one firm-fixed-price construction contract for removal and disposal of existing carpet and cove base and installation of approximately 2,485 square feet of a new flooring system. The system must include brand-name-or-equal luxury vinyl plank flooring, an acoustical moisture barrier membrane, and four-inch cove base. The flooring must meet specified commercial-grade durability, dimensional, appearance, compatibility, sound attenuation, and warranty requirements. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidental costs. The work covers the entry area, break room, hallways, conference room, and five offices. The contractor must be a Montana state-certified contractor, provide product information and warranty information, and submit proof of a current Montana contractor's license. Work is scheduled for November 2 through December 31, 2026, during regular weekday hours, and includes required safety, environmental, waste-disposal, security, staffing, work-schedule, product-submittal, and emergency-contact obligations. The solicitation evaluates price, technical information, and past experience, including three similar projects completed within the last three years.
