Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to remove existing rolled carpet and wall base and supply and install approximately 2,500 square feet of tiled carpet and 720 linear feet of wall base in an area office, plus approximately 1,970 square feet of tiled carpet and 200 linear feet of wall base in a conference room. The work includes adhesives, removal and disposal, moving furniture in the area office, and providing approximately 200 square feet of extra carpet tiles for stock. The specified products are J+J #3563 Essential Accent 24-by-24-inch carpet tiles and Flexco Base #395 Storm Gray wall base, or approved equals. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, project management, daily cleanup, debris control, and a site safety plan. Work must be performed during specified weekday hours, with a foreman present onsite, and completed within the stated performance period. Quotations must include pricing for every schedule line item, a completed and signed Schedule of Items and SF 1449, and a Technical Capabilities Statement addressing compliance with the Statement of Work.
