Description
Pikes Peak State College, on behalf of the State of Colorado, is soliciting a contractor for a flooring renovation at its Child Development Center. The work includes removing and disposing of existing resilient flooring, staples, and underlayment; preparing and leveling the substrate; installing new underlayment and commercial-grade resilient sheet vinyl flooring; heat-welding seams; and installing adhesives, rubber wall base, doorway transitions, caulking, and related accessories. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, delivery, supervision, dumpster services, cleanup, and disposal. Work must comply with applicable laws, codes, safety requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and commercial flooring practices, while minimizing disruption to an operating child development center. Proposals must address organizational experience, key personnel, accessibility requirements, mandatory requirements, technical approach, and cost.
