Description
The Laramie Rivers Conservation District is requesting professional engineering services for restoration designs addressing two segments of the Laramie River within Hart Ranch. The designs must improve water quality, fish habitat, channel stability, and riparian and wetland habitat, including consideration of natural channel design techniques such as adding woody material, expanding wetlands, and narrowing the river channel. The scope includes development of three alternatives for each segment with cost estimates, 60% and 100% designs, hydrologic, hydraulic, geomorphic, and geotechnical assessments as needed, design figures and calculations for permitting, specifications, design reports, and final construction cost estimates. Optional, budget-dependent services include bid-document preparation and bid support, construction surveying and staking, construction inspection and oversight, as-built drawings, Class III cultural-resource surveys, and wetland delineations. The anticipated design schedule runs from December 2026 through November 2027, with later optional bidding and construction phases extending through 2029.
