Description
Weld County School District 6 is soliciting bids for snow removal at 15 school sites in Greeley and Evans, Colorado. The work includes plowing and piling snow from designated parking lot and play pad areas for accumulations of two inches or more, with service during overnight school-day hours and during daytime weekend and holiday hours as needed. District personnel will handle sidewalks and walkways, while the contractor must avoid pushing snow onto those areas. The contractor must provide adequate equipment and resources, including an 8-foot plow truck with snow wings, skid loaders, and front-end loaders as needed. Skid loader and front-end loader services are required for storms exceeding 10 inches, subject to project manager approval. The contractor must install lawn and curb markers, protect signs and curbing, provide separate invoices and snow-removal field reports for each location after snow events, and document personnel and equipment start and end times.
