Description
The City of Hazelwood is soliciting bids for installation of approximately 6,825 square feet of 7/16-inch maple gymnasium flooring at Civic Center East. The work includes preparing the existing synthetic floor, installing Robbins Sportwood Direct System flooring or an equivalent, sanding and buffing, staining designated areas, applying water-based sealer and oil-based finish, painting black game lines and the City's white logo, and installing black vented cove base and aluminum transitions at six gymnasium openings. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, cleanup, and related project requirements. Bidders must submit the completed bid form with unit prices, manufacturer and product information, descriptive literature, references, a signed and notarized non-collusion affidavit, affidavit of compliance, bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, and a certificate of insurance. The bid package must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope. The contract term is 30 calendar days after written notice to proceed, with an anticipated start date of October 26, 2026, subject to material lead time and an agreed schedule. The contract requires 100% payment and performance bonds, although these are post-award contract requirements.
