Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to replace approximately 5,500 square feet of patient-treatment flooring and 600 linear feet of wall base at the Castle Point facility. The work will be performed in two phases during the firm January 2027 window, generally Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The contractor must provide Creative Terrain II 36-by-36-inch flooring, matching cove base, and a moisture-barrier underlay. The VA will move equipment and furniture; the contractor will install flooring around two floor-mounted parallel-bar locations and leave wall-mounted items in place. The solicitation is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Equal-product submissions must identify the manufacturer, brand, and model and include descriptive literature and any proposed modifications. The offer must include the Buy American Certificate and Limitations in Subcontracting Certificate. The applicable wage determination is General Decision NY20260007, with the contractor directed to use the most comparable existing classification pending Department of Labor guidance.
